Research background

The Research Behind Re-Loop.

Re-Loop is built on research in cognitive load, energy regulation, and emotional safety. Each concept is designed to make planning feel lighter, not louder.

Why research matters here.

Most tools are designed to maximize output. Re-Loop was built to reduce pressure. Every color, word, and feature comes from studying how people with ADHD, burnout, and chronic illness actually live. We looked at what helps people rest, recover, and return, then built from there.

“Care is not a side effect of design. It is the design itself.”

What people are saying

“Things I thought would take weeks took an hour or two.”

Research Foundations

  • Zeigarnik Effect: unfinished tasks occupy mental space.
  • Cognitive Load Theory: too much information reduces focus.
  • Decision Fatigue: depleted energy affects choices.
  • Self‑Determination Theory: motivation grows from autonomy and safety.
  • Polyvagal Theory: safety enables focus and recovery.

Planning should feel safe.
